I am going to call this "Suzi Blu Portrait Class" journal entry completed ....I have put so many layers on it and really left my "comfort zone" to complete it...Tried to do all the little extra's that Suzi suggested.....Rub on's, etc......I really enjoyed doing this spread...and I actually like it.....If you go back a few posts you can see the progress pictures.....

4 Girls

I spent some overnight time in the hospital with my husband (the patient) recently...Before I left the house I threw into my bag, a journal, some pan watercolors, a micron pen and a water brush...These supplies saved my sanity....I will probably finish them and incorporate them in a journal spread in the future....Where did I came up with the long necks????/

LTS Pink Journal Page

I should title this LTS "muddy pink" journal page...I also need to do something about lighting for my photos....any how, this is what I played with a couple of days ago when I could not sleep....it really looks better in good lighting...of course i do need to journal on it.....

Some Progress

Made a little progress on a"Suzi Blu class" journal entry....It has been sitting around not finished for awhile....It is still not finished but at least I have started it....and I am enjoying it......Ugh..the "very blue" eyelids will be toned down under the many more layers that I will be putting on here...Did the rub on thing with this as Suzi suggested....I might have over done them.....Oh well, I am sure I will love it when I am finished.......thanks for listening...

Practice Pages

I am taking Martha Lever's "Calligrafun" class...This is a VERY FUN class.....I highly recommend it....I don't think I will ever "not" say FLICK when I am making these fun letters......If you are taking or have taken the class you will understand...lol....Thank you, Martha, for this opportunity..

With a Saddened Heart

I have been saddened with the news of a dear friend being diagnosed with cancer....Creating art has been put in the back of my mind this past week....Please send your prayers her way...

Artist ADD

Someone (Martha Lever) asked on her blog if you ever get "artist ADD".....I am raising my hand here!!! I suffer from it often...lol.....I would love to commit to sitting down and doing "art" everyday and posting what I do on this blog....Do I dare commit to this?....Maybe I should just commit to 5 days a week and see how long I can make that last...Most time I work better when I have a goal to meet......My problem is I love to draw, paint, collage and stamp....and polymer clay is another passion......Oh, dare I forget bookbinding and journal making.....See, already I am overwhelmed!!!!! This is where the "artist ADD" comes in.....Starting this coming Monday I will post something "artsy" 5 times a week.....now it "might not" be completed work, but something I am working on.......there I did it!!!!

These pages are the result of viewing Teesha Moores videos on her blog...I had several collage sheets that I purchased from her ages ago and a journal I made with watercolor paper...The videos inspired me to dig them out and use them....finally......They are not complete and I intend to journal on them eventually.....
