painted fabric play

some play with paint on fabric...i am taking alisa burke's beneath the surface class.......i had some strips of cotton duck leftovers and decided to paint them....i would rather be doing a large canvas but i pulled a muscle in my back and standing for a long length of time does not work.......

Look forward to seeing how you use these strips in your artwork. Take care and hope your back is better soon. Annette x

This is so beautiful! I can think of a million things to make with painted fabric like this. Only problem is, I don't have any talents in the needle and thread department LOL Your portrait with the stabilo pencil is beautiful too, nice playing.
Hope your back is better soon, backpain is no fun!

The canvas duck took your designs so well, something will come of these, your not done yet.

If you take a ball a bit bigger than grapefruit and sit in a chair anad then rool the ball around with your back it is such a pleasure to all muscles in your back. I belong to Silver Sneakers
an exercise group and we do this near the finish of our workout.

Hi just discovered ur blog, thanks for sharing your ideas. Can I ask which paints you used to paint the cotton duck? They are layered but very vibrant. Thanks Sunb1 (from UK)

sunnyb i used cheap acrylic paints for the strips of fabric......i first used white all over the cotton duck and it helped with the other colors being so bright.... thanks for asking and admiring....
